Erection Method
In order to save clients' cost, panel bridge engineers of Rivers will simultaneously help clients to train their own erection technician by using erection instruction methods, in order that clients can use them repeatedly.

Introduction of Common erection Methods of Rivers Panel Bridge
Over-arm Pushing Method: Restricted by construction site, giant erecting equipment often cannot enter the site. Simple-equipped Over-arm Pushing Method is widely used to erect bridge quickly and safely. It doesn’t need giant erection equipment, and experienced workers can perform the bridge erection task after limited training. The so-called Over-arm Pushing Method is to install Rocking Roller and Plain Roller on both sides of a river. Then, majority of bridge components assembled on the roller at the pushing side is pushed by using human power or machine steadily and slowly to the roller on the other side of the river.

The structural calculation of bridge spanning before consolidation is of using frame pitch numbers of every combination and every bridging span to figure out the weight and the pre-frame deflection. Frame length should conform to the following rule, such that frame pitch number is the result of bridging pitch number dividing 2 and plus 1. For example, the frame number of 24m long bridge with double rows and monolayer is 8/2十1=5 pitches. For the bridge with odd number, its pitch number is the bridging number divides2, and then takes integer plus 1.

The calculation of the carrying capacity of rollers at pushing sides: For example, an enhanced structure with double rows and monolayer is to be assembled. Its span is 33m, and the frames are single-row and monolayer panel structures with 7 pitches. The roller is fixed at 0.75m in front of the basic broad (the side next to the shore). Every pitch weight of the bridge is 35.7kn and every frame weight of single-row and monolayer one is 9.0kn, so the pushing capacity is 11×35.7+7×9.0=455.7kn. When the enhanced bridge with double-rows is erected, four rollers should be used at the pushing side. The carrying capacity of every roller is 455.7/4=113.9kn. It is 250kn less than the roller designed, so the rollers are safe.
